Placing bets
Bets are valid only once confirmed with a unique transaction ID. It is your responsibility to ensure bet details are correct before confirming. By placing a bet you confirm you have sufficient funds, accept the displayed odds, are not acting on non-public information, and are not a participant, official, or owner in the event.
Settlement
Markets are settled on official results from the relevant governing body or BETBY's data feed. Settlement disputes must be raised within 14 days of settlement.
Odds errors & corrections
Bets placed at clearly erroneous odds (data feed failures, pricing errors, technical faults) may be voided or resettled at correct odds. We reserve the right to correct settlements at any time. You will be notified of any void or correction.
Cancellations & postponements
Bets on postponed, cancelled, or abandoned events are void and stakes returned, unless a specific market outcome was definitively determined before abandonment (in which case that market stands). Events rescheduled in advance for broadcasting or fixture reasons are not treated as postponed. An abandonment is when a match is halted and not concluded on the same day.
In-play betting
In-play markets may be suspended at any time. Bets submitted during a suspension will not be processed. Bets accepted after a suspension lifts are valid at the odds displayed at that time.
Cash Out
Where available, Cash Out lets you settle a bet before the event concludes. Cash Out values may be higher or lower than your stake. Cash Out is unavailable during market suspensions and may fail if odds change during the time-delay period. We are not liable if Cash Out is unavailable due to technical issues — bets settle normally on the final result.
Accumulators & combination bets
If a selection in an accumulator is voided, the bet is recalculated excluding that selection. Correlated bets may be automatically rejected by the BETBY system without individual notification — this is a system-level control applied consistently.
Bet limits
Minimum and maximum stake limits apply per market and are displayed at the point of placement. There is no universal sportsbook maximum win cap — limits are market-specific. We reserve the right to limit bet sizes or restrict markets for individual accounts.
