Most Housebets withdrawals are processed within minutes. If yours is taking longer, here are the most common reasons and what to do.
Common reasons for delays
1. Email confirmation not completed
After submitting a withdrawal, you will receive a confirmation email. The withdrawal will not be processed until you click the link in that email. Check your inbox and spam/junk folder.
2. Blockchain congestion
During periods of high network activity, blockchain confirmations can take longer than usual. This is outside of Housebets’ control. You can monitor network congestion using a blockchain explorer.
3. Security review
Withdrawals that are larger than usual or that trigger our automated security checks may be briefly held for manual review. This is a routine safeguard and is typically resolved within a few hours.
4. KYC verification pending
If your cumulative withdrawals have reached the KYC threshold (€2,000), your withdrawal may be on hold until identity verification is completed. Check your email for instructions or visit the Verification section of your account.
5. Wallet or network maintenance
Occasionally, a specific blockchain network may undergo maintenance. Check if your wallet provider or the network has announced any downtime.
