One thing Alonso has been able to do, though, is make big decisions. He dropped Vinicius Jr and Trent Alexander-Arnold last weekend.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, Real Mallorca are still looking for their first win this season after losing 3-0 at home to Barcelona in their opening game, before playing a draw against Celta Vigo last weekend.

It appears the wait for that first win will go on, as they have not won a league game at the Bernabeu since 2009, although they did beat them at home in 2023.&nbsp;

Madrid are the favourites going into this game, with Xabi Alonso’s men priced at 1.18 to get the win.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, over 2.5 is at 1.53, as per odds from<u> Housebets</u>.&nbsp;

Augsburg vs Bayern Munich&nbsp;

Bayern Munich are on the road as they take on Augsburg in their second game of the new Bundesliga season.&nbsp;

The Bavaria giants already showed that it would take something miraculous to happen for them to give up their crown after thrashing RB Leipzig 6-0 in their opening game.&nbsp;

With their rivals selling their star players, it is fair to say that Bayern will once again win the Bundesliga, even though we have played just one game.&nbsp;

Nonetheless, they still have a job to do against Augsburg, who got their campaign off to a flyer last weekend.&nbsp;

Sandro Wagner’s men won 3-1 at Freiburg and will go into their clash against the champions full of confidence.&nbsp;

The win over Freiburg came after they won 2-0 against Hallescher in their DFB Pokal clash two weeks ago.&nbsp;

But despite their brilliant start to the season, Augsburg are winless in their last five games at home.&nbsp;

History also does not favour them as they have lost their last six games against Bayern, conceding at least three goals in all matches.&nbsp;

The home side are massive underdogs going into the game as they are priced <u>at 9.40 to win against Bayern’s 1.26.&nbsp;</u>

Napoli vs Cagliari&nbsp;

Our pick: <u>Napoli to win</u>

Napoli got their title defence off to a flying start, as they beat Sassuolo 2-0. Antonio Conte’s men will now aim to start their home campaign with a win against Cagliari.&nbsp;

Coincidentally, this same clash was their final home game of last season, which was also the last game of the season.&nbsp;

In that game, Napoli needed to win to seal the league title. They did just that as Conte’s men won 2-0.&nbsp;

The Neapolitans will now be gunning for a repeat of that performance in their first home game of the season.&nbsp;

That should not be a problem for the champions as they have won 19 of their last 28 games against Cagliari, losing just one during this time.&nbsp;

With KDB getting off to a good start in Naples, anything other than a win will be a disappointment for the home side.&nbsp;

Cagliari, meanwhile, started their campaign with a draw against Fiorentina, but it does not look like they will get their first win of the season here, as they have lost on their last trip to Naples.&nbsp;

The odds also do not favour them, with the Rossoblu priced at a massive <u>10.00 to get a rare win in Naples</u>.

Toulouse vs PSG&nbsp;

Although PSG have been far from convincing so far, they will be looking to make it three wins from three when they take on Toulouse in their Ligue 1 encounter on Saturday night.&nbsp;

Luis Enrique’s men started their campaign with 1-0 wins over Angers and Nantes, but will be looking to step up against Toulouse.&nbsp;

In fairness, PSG’s average display can be excused considering their players only returned to training two weeks ago, having reached the FIFA Club World Cup final.&nbsp;

Nonetheless, they need to raise their level against a Toulouse side that also have two wins from two.&nbsp;

Carles Martinez’s side have beaten Nice and Brest without conceding a goal, and will be looking to continue in the same vein against PSG.&nbsp;

However, it is going to be a difficult task for the home side, as they have lost their last five home games against the Champions.&nbsp;

In fact, Enrique’s men are the only team that have stopped Toulouse from scoring in their last 17 league games at home.&nbsp;

PSG are favoured to win, with the <u>Champions priced at 1.34, while over 2.5 is at 1.58.&nbsp;</u>

Liverpool vs Arsenal&nbsp;

It may be just three games into the new season, but Liverpool’s clash against Arsenal could shape how the Premier League title race will turn out this season.&nbsp;

Both teams currently sit top of the table after two games, and it looks like that would be the situation at the end of the season.&nbsp;

Although the order of finish is something we might not be able to say now, we may get a glimpse after Sunday’s clash.&nbsp;

The two teams have a perfect start to the season, but their performances have been contrasting.&nbsp;

Arsenal currently sit top on goal difference after starting their campaign with a 1-0 win over Man Utd and a 5-0 thrashing of Leeds United.&nbsp;

Defensively, they have been solid, and it looks like they now have that X factor in attack following the addition of Viktor Gyokeres.&nbsp;

In contrast, Liverpool have been all over the place defensively, but their attack has been brilliant to watch.&nbsp;

So, it’s a case of an unstoppable force against an immovable object. Recent head-to-head favours Arsenal, with the Gunners unbeaten in their last six league games against Liverpool (W2, D4).&nbsp;

However, Anfield has not been a happy hunting ground for the Gunners since 2012, the last time they won a league game at the stadium.&nbsp;

Arsenal will be without their two star players, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, for the game, but have enough depth to replace them.&nbsp;

It is really hard to predict this game, but over 2.5 seems like the most likely outcome, given that the last three games between the two sides have been a high-scoring affair.&nbsp;
